Warisan Party Denies False Claim of Withdrawal from Malaysia's Unity Government

Sabah's Warisan Party rejected rumours circulating on social media that it had withdrawn from the federal Unity Government (Kerajaan Perpaduan). Party Secretary‑General Datuk Loretto Padua called the claim defamation and said the document presented as an official statement was forged. Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Datuk Dr Mohammad Yusof Apdal confirmed the alleged withdrawal notice was fake and stressed that no official decision had been made by Warisan's leadership. The party urged the public to verify information before sharing and warned against spreading misinformation that could mislead voters.

Warisan emphasized that any genuine statements will be issued through its official communication channels.
