Warka community raises 6,831 zł for 9‑year‑old’s computer

During the municipal Children’s Day in Warka, Poland, residents organized a charity drive for 9‑year‑old Marek, a Dream‑maker supported by the Fundacja Mam Marzenie foundation. Live and online auctions – including a helicopter ride, a park voucher, a rally‑team jacket, a Poland‑Nigeria match ticket, a signed football shirt and a KSW fighter’s shirt – were held both on stage and via the cultural institution “Dworek na Długiej”’s Facebook page. The effort collected the full amount of 6,831 zł needed to purchase a stationary computer for Marek. Organisers thanked donors, volunteers from the local school’s volunteer club, and all participants for their generosity, noting that the successful fundraising demonstrated the town’s strong community spirit.
