Warmia-Mazury announces 2.8 billion PLN road investment plan
Authorities in the Warmia-Mazury region have announced significant investment plans for provincial roads, totaling approximately 2.8 billion PLN. The project aims to upgrade nearly 300 km of roads by the end of 2030.
Currently, 35 km of roads with a value of 0.6 billion PLN are entering the implementation stage, while nearly 130 km of roads, valued at 1.9 billion PLN, are in the design phase. The plan also includes the construction of over 130 km of autonomous bicycle and pedestrian paths, costing roughly 0.3 billion PLN.
Key anticipated projects include bypasses for Morąg, Bisztynek, and Działdowo, the expansion of provincial road No. 507 between Orneta and Dobre Miasto, and the construction of a grade-separated intersection with railway line No. 9 in Iława. One of the first upcoming investments will be the expansion of provincial road No. 593 in Kikity.
