Warmian-Masurian voivodeship opens NGO consultation for 2027 program
The regional authorities of Poland's Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship have launched a public consultation inviting non‑governmental organisations to submit comments on the draft "Program of cooperation of the voivodeship administration with NGOs for 2027". Eligible bodies – including associations, foundations and other entities listed in article 3 paragraph 3 of the Public Benefit and Volunteer Activity Act – may send their opinions to the Office of Social Dialogue and Public Benefit in Olsztyn until 31 August 2026.
The programme outlines three main cooperation areas: (I) involving NGOs in the creation of public policies, (II) joint implementation of public tasks, and (III) building collaborative infrastructure to boost civic activity. Statistical data from the Olsztyn Statistical Office show that at the end of 2025 the voivodeship counted 5 838 associations, 1 138 foundations and, when adding churches, religious unions and women’s circles, more than 7 700 social entities operating in the region. The consultation aims to address challenges such as financial instability and varying activity levels among these organisations.
