Warmińsko-Mazurski Police Garrison Choir celebrates 10th anniversary

The Warmińsko-Mazurski Police Garrison Choir celebrated its 10th anniversary with a gala at the Feliks Nowowiejski Warmian-Masurian Philharmonic in Olsztyn. The event featured guest performances by the Police Representative Orchestra and included the presentation of “Profundae Agnitionis Ergo” statues to individuals who contributed to the choir's development.

Founded in 2016 by Superintendent Marcin Danowski, the ensemble began as a group of approximately twenty officers united by a passion for music. The group officially received its name from Inspector Tomasz Klimka, the then-Provincial Police Commander in Olsztyn. Since its first concert in early 2017, the choir has performed a wide range of music, including patriotic programs such as “Polska – Moja Ojczyzna!” and “Bóg, Honor, Ojczyzna!”, as well as sacred, holiday, and entertainment music.

Over the past decade, the choir has performed at prestigious venues including the Polish Senate, the Forest Opera in Sopot, and the Polish Theatre in Warsaw. The group also participates in charitable activities, such as supporting the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
