Warner Bros. Animation sets 2027 release for ‘Margie Claus’

Warner Bros. Pictures Animation has announced that the animated feature ‘Margie Claus’ is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 12, 2027.

Starring Melissa McCarthy in the title role, the film follows Santa Claus’s wife as she leads an unqualified rescue team to the South Pole to find her husband after he goes missing on Christmas Eve. The voice cast includes Jim Gaffigan as Santa, Andrew Scott as Jack Frost, and Cole Escola, alongside Annie Mumolo, Georgette Falcone, Octavia Spencer, Gary Farmer, Luis Gerardo Méndez, Cedric Yarbrough, and Maria Bakalova.

Directed by Kirk DeMicco, the film features a screenplay by Ben Falcone and Damon Jones. Original songs will be written and produced by Grammy Award-winning artist Meghan Trainor in collaboration with Falcone and Jones. The project is produced by McCarthy and Falcone via their On the Day Productions banner, with Michelle L. M. Wong also serving as a producer.
