Warner Bros. Delays Taylor Sheridan Action Film F.A.S.T. to May 2027
Warner Bros. Pictures has moved the theatrical release of the action thriller F.A.S.T. from its original April 23, 2027 date to May 14, 2027. The film, written by Taylor Sheridan, follows a former special‑forces commando recruited by the DEA for a black‑ops mission against CIA‑protected drug dealers.
Ben Richardson will direct the movie, marking his feature‑film debut, while Brandon Sklenar stars as the commando. The ensemble cast includes Sam Claflin, Juliana Canfield, LaKeith Stanfield, Jason Clarke, Trevante Rhodes and Chloe Coleman. Production began in August 2025 in New Rochelle, New York, and later moved to Murcia, Spain. The project, budgeted at roughly $60‑70 million, was revived after earlier concerns from AT&T and a history of development setbacks dating back to Warner Bros.’ 2018 acquisition of the script, when Chris Pratt and director Gavin O'Connor were originally attached.
