Warner Bros. Discovery announces Batman Day 2026 celebrations

Warner Bros. Discovery and DC have announced a series of events and releases to celebrate Batman Day on September 19, 2026. The celebration includes theatrical re-releases of several films, including Tim Burton’s ‘Batman’ (1989), the animated ‘Batman: Mask of the Phantasm’, and ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’. These screenings are scheduled for September 19 and 20 across Regal, AMC, and Cinemark theaters.

Digital and streaming content will also be featured. TNT is set to premiere Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dark Knight’ trilogy on September 19, while TBS will air Batman-themed episodes of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ on September 20. HBO Max will offer a curated collection of films, including ‘Batman Begins’ and ‘The Batman’.

In gaming, fans can access the ‘Mayhem Collection’ DLC for ‘LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight’ and participate in in-game events for ‘Injustice 2 Mobile’ and ‘DC: Dark Legion’. Additionally, the DC Shop will release new merchandise, including apparel and collectibles from various brands throughout the month.
