The upcoming slate includes the series 'Lanterns,' which is set to debut on HBO Max. 'Lanterns' creator Chris Mundy addressed recent fan backlash regarding the series' trailer, noting the challenge of balancing original storytelling with the expectations of a passionate fanbase. Mundy described the upcoming series as an intergalactic crime drama featuring characters John Stewart and Hal Jordan.
