Warner Bros. Discovery releases 1994 'Interview with the Vampire' on 4K

Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment announced that the 1994 film Interview with the Vampire, directed by Neil Jordan and based on Anne Rice’s novel, will be issued on 4K Ultra HD Blu‑ray and digital formats. The release, slated for late September (Sept. 22) in the United States and early October (Oct. 5) in other markets, features the original cast including Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Kirsten Dunst, Antonio Banderas, Stephen Rea and Christian Slater.

The new 4K edition adds several bonus materials such as the “Eternal Night and Deadly Light” featurette with Jordan and editor Mick Audsley, a “Creating the World” segment with production designer Dante Ferretti, deleted scenes, a commentary track, and an introduction by Anne Rice, Neil Jordan and Antonio Banderas. The disc will be available in standard Ultra HD packaging and a limited‑edition SteelBook.
