Warner Bros. Pictures Animation premieres The Cat in the Hat

Warner Bros. Pictures Animation held the world premiere of the animated feature The Cat in the Hat on October 25, 2026, at the Warner Bros. Studio Lot in Burbank, California. The film, inspired by the Dr. Seuss classic, follows the titular character as an agent for a mysterious organization called L.I.I.I., tasked with bringing magic to two siblings, Gabby and Sebastian, as they adjust to a new town.

The premiere featured voice actor Bill Hader, who voices the Cat, alongside cast members America Ferrera, Quinta Brunson, Xochitl Gomez, Giancarlo Esposito, and Tiago Martinez. The creative team in attendance included co-directors Erica Rivinoja and Alessandro Carloni, and producer Daniela Mazzucato.

To support the film's release, Warner Bros. and Amazon Ads have launched the ‘Open to Fun’ campaign. Developed by Amazon’s Brand Innovation Lab, the multi-channel activation includes a dedicated Amazon store, custom Alexa experiences, and interactive mini-games. The film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on November 6.
