Warner Bros. Sets 2026 Release Dates for Batman: Knightfall Animated Film

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment announced that the first installment of the animated Batman: Knightfall trilogy will debut digitally on August 25, 2026, followed by 4K UHD, Blu‑ray and DVD releases on September 8‑9, 2026 in North America. The film adapts the classic 1990s DC Comics storyline in which Bane breaks the Bat, and stars Anson Mount as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Mando as Bane, and Pablo Schreiber as Jean‑Paul Valley/Azrael. Directed by Jeff Wamester from a script by Jeremy Adams, it is produced by Warner Bros. Animation and animated by South Korean studio Mir Co.

A new motion poster for the movie was unveiled at the San Diego Comic‑Con panel, where a trailer preview was also expected. Parts Two and Three of the trilogy are scheduled for later in 2026 and early 2027. The release is part of Warner Bros.’ broader rollout of direct‑to‑digital DC animated titles.
