Warner Bros. to re-release Batman films in theaters for Batman Day

Warner Bros. has announced a series of theatrical re-releases to celebrate Batman Day. Starting Friday, September 18, three films will be screened at participating AMC, Cinemark, and Regal theaters.

The scheduled lineup includes Tim Burton’s ‘Batman’ on September 18, ‘Batman: Mask of the Phantasm’ on September 19, and ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’ on September 20. While Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dark Knight’ trilogy will not be part of the theatrical rollout this year, the trilogy is scheduled to air on TNT on September 19 and will be available for streaming on HBO Max.

In separate news, production continues on ‘The Batman Part 2’ starring Robert Pattinson, which is slated for a February 2027 theatrical release.
