Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi to add Harry Potter lands by 2029

Miral and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences have announced a major expansion of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island. The project will introduce three new Harry Potter-themed lands: Diagon Alley, Hogwarts, and the Forbidden Forest.

The expansion will cover approximately 63,000 square meters, increasing the indoor theme park’s total size by more than 50%. The new areas are expected to feature world-exclusive rides designed specifically for the Abu Dhabi location. Construction is targeted for completion in 2029.

This development aligns with Abu Dhabi’s broader economic goals of tourism enhancement and economic diversification. Unlike Universal’s outdoor Harry Potter attractions, these lands will be located within the existing indoor facility.
