Warren Buffett has returned to the list of the world's ten richest people, with his net worth reaching approximately USD 143 billion. This shift occurred as Berkshire Hathaway shares saw slight gains while Inditex shares, the parent company of Zara, experienced a decline.

Buffett's rise to the 10th position places him just below Steve Ballmer, who holds a net worth of nearly USD 160 billion. The change follows a decrease in the wealth of Amancio Ortega, whose net worth fell to USD 140.1 billion due to a 1.6 percent drop in Inditex stock.

The ranking change comes as Buffett completes a leadership transition at Berkshire Hathaway, the conglomerate he has led for over six decades.
