Warren Buffett reveals unique dietary habits and long-term soda preference

Warren Buffett, the 96-year-old legendary investor, has reportedly not consumed plain water for 48 years. According to billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman, Buffett declined offers of still or sparkling water during a dinner, opting instead for his preferred cherry cola.

Buffett is well known for his high-calorie diet, which includes consuming approximately five cans of soda daily. He previously joked that Coca-Cola accounts for 25 percent of his daily calorie intake. His preference for sugary foods and fast food, such as McDonald's, hot dogs, and candy, is reflected in his investment portfolio, which includes significant holdings in companies like Coca-Cola and Kraft Heinz, as well as Berkshire Hathaway subsidiaries like See's Candies.

In addition to his soda habit, Buffett has expressed a strong dislike for Japanese cuisine, stemming from a poor experience with sushi in Tokyo. He has maintained a philosophy of eating foods that bring him comfort, once suggesting that eating like a six-year-old is a safe approach to diet.
