Warsaw academic institutions honor deceased faculty and staff

The Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and the University of Warsaw have released memorials honoring various professors, long-term employees, and friends of their academic communities who passed away recently.

At SGH, the institution remembered figures such as Dr. Jan Bielawski, a specialist in international economic policy and a former diplomat for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Henryk Dreger, a long-time lecturer in the Department of Business Communication.

The University of Warsaw honored several members of its community, including legal expert and former Supreme Court judge Professor Krzysztof Rączka, geographer Maria Skoczek, and nuclear spectroscopy expert Chrystian Droste, among others across various departments including linguistics, geology, and physics.
