Residents of Warsaw have submitted a petition calling for a comprehensive revitalisation of Jeziorko Czerniakowskie, seeking measures such as thorough cleaning of the lake bed, sand‑covering of the swimming area, raising water levels, expanding the beach zone, installing public toilets, a modern playground with water attractions, additional benches and waste bins, water‑jet misting stations, outdoor showers, drinking‑water taps, a bike‑rental point with a self‑service repair station, and a city‑wide monitoring system.

In the southern city of Jaworzno, the municipal council approved a plan to transform the Kozim Bród riverbank in the Szczakowa district into a public promenade. The project, arising from a resident‑led consultation, will create a green park with a fountain, a wooden terrace, ambient lighting, and parking spaces, linking existing pedestrian routes and providing year‑round recreational use for the neighbourhood.
