Warsaw expands paid parking zones to Saska Kępa and Odolany

Warsaw is expanding its Unwatched Paid Parking Zone (SPPN), effective Monday, September 14. The new regulations apply to parts of Saska Kępa in the Praga-Południe district (near Międzynarodowa Street) and the Odolany area in Wola.

In Saska Kępa, the city has designated 900 parking spaces and 17 parking meters. In Odolany, there are 680 spaces and 29 parking meters. While some machines accept coins, most primarily support card payments. Parking fees apply on weekdays from 8:00 to 20:00, with rates starting at 4.50 PLN for the first hour.

Residents within the zone can purchase annual permits: a regional permit for 30 PLN (valid within 200 meters of their registered address) or an area permit for 600 PLN (valid for the entire designated area). To qualify, residents must be registered at an address within the zone, have settled their previous year's PIT tax in Warsaw, and be the owner or user of the vehicle. Exemptions are granted to electric vehicle owners, persons with disabilities (N+ card holders), and holders of specific honorary cards.

A further expansion is scheduled for mid-May next year, which is expected to include parts of Mokotów and Włoch.
