Warsaw launches renewable energy investment subsidies
Warsaw has launched a call for applications for renewable energy source (RES) investment subsidies for 2027. The application process is open until March 31, 2027, and is governed by a specific subsidy resolution.
Eligible installations include air-to-water or ground-source heat pumps, solar collectors, photovoltaic panels, and wind turbines. Additionally, subsidies are available for energy storage of at least 2 kWh when paired with photovoltaic or wind installations.
Funding amounts for individuals, entrepreneurs, housing communities, and legal entities are capped as follows: - Air-to-water heat pumps: up to 30,000 PLN - Ground-source heat pumps: up to 40,000 PLN - Solar collectors: up to 15,000 PLN - Photovoltaics: up to 15,000 PLN - Wind turbines: up to 15,000 PLN - Energy storage: up to 10,000 PLN
Public finance sector units, including municipal and county legal entities, can receive funding covering up to 80% of actual investment costs. To increase the chances of receiving a subsidy in the event of limited funds, applicants are encouraged to submit their requests early, as they are processed based on the date of receipt.
