Warsaw offers free outdoor pilates sessions in local park

Residents in Warsaw can participate in free outdoor pilates sessions at the Park Aktywności Rodzinnej every Sunday until September 27. The classes begin at 10:00 AM and are open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners. Participants are advised to bring their own mats and wear comfortable sportswear. The program, organized in coordination with OSIR Wawer, aims to promote physical health and community integration.

For those unable to attend public sessions, pilates can also be practiced at home with minimal equipment. Effective home routines require only a mat and a small space of approximately 200 x 100 cm. Experts suggest that short, frequent sessions of 15-20 minutes performed three times a week are more beneficial for learning movement patterns than infrequent, longer workouts. This approach aligns with general physical activity recommendations to support core strength and posture, particularly for individuals with sedentary lifestyles.
