Warsaw police arrest Azerbaijani man for public indecency

A 36-year-old Azerbaijani citizen has been arrested following a highly publicized incident of public indecency at a bus stop near Hala Kopińska in Warsaw. The individual reportedly approached young girls and engaged in obscene behavior in public.

The case gained significant traction on social media after video footage of the incident was shared, reaching approximately 1.5 million users. Following public outcry and intervention from the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, police conducted an intensive investigation.

The suspect was apprehended at his place of work in Pruszków County. Authorities stated that legal proceedings are being conducted regarding potential violations of Article 197, paragraph 2 of the Penal Code. Additionally, the collected evidence may serve as a basis for initiating procedures to deport the individual from Poland.
