Warsaw police arrest teenager for planning mass murder

Police in the Wola district of Warsaw have arrested a 16-year-old boy suspected of planning to kill multiple people. Following a tip, officers searched the minor's home and discovered an arsenal of dangerous items, including machetes, knives, a brass knuckle, a telescopic baton, and objects resembling firearms.

Authorities also seized a bulletproof vest and incapacitating gas. Sub-inspector Marta Sulowska stated that the information gathered indicated the minor was taking steps to create the conditions necessary to carry out a mass murder project.

A juvenile court has ordered the teenager to be placed in a regional educational center for three months. Police have also submitted evidence to initiate procedures that may lead to further isolation measures for the minor.
