Warsaw robots march to demand AI regulation and job protection

Approximately 30 robots, including bipedal humanoids like the Agibot A3 and quadrupedal models, marched in Warsaw, Poland, to demand stricter regulations for artificial intelligence and the protection of human jobs. The demonstration took place in front of the Ministry of Digital Affairs.

Organized by the initiative Democratism, the protest aimed to spark a national debate on the socio-economic impacts of automation and the potential replacement of human workers in cognitive and manual roles. Organizers, including Grzegorz Kuliś, emphasized that the goal is not to halt innovation but to establish legal frameworks before mass displacement occurs.

Polish Digital Affairs Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski visited the site and acknowledged that uncontrolled AI models integrated into evolving humanoid technology represent a serious challenge. The event highlights the urgency of implementing regulatory shields, such as the EU AI Act, to safeguard the labor market.
