Warsaw Stock Exchange to debut leveraged Ethereum ETN
The Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW) will debut a new Exchange Traded Note (ETN) from HANetf on October 27. The instrument, identified as ETNHAN2LET, is designed to track the value of Ethereum using 2x long leverage.
This product marks the 49th instrument in the ETF, ETC, and ETN category on the GPW and the 13th HANetf product available on the exchange. The ETN features an annual management fee of 2% and is 100% backed by segregated Ethereum assets. Due to the underlying asset's volatility and the use of financial leverage, the instrument carries increased investment risk.
ETNHAN2LET is already listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, Nasdaq Helsinki, and the Wiener Börse. Raiffeisen Bank International will serve as the market maker for the product in Warsaw. According to GPW board member Michał Kobza, these types of products have become a significant part of the exchange's offering, with monthly turnover recently exceeding 500 million PLN.
