Fatal road accidents involving Polish citizens reported in Europe

Multiple fatal and serious road accidents involving Polish citizens have been reported across Europe.

In Hungary, 12 Polish pilgrims died and 37 were injured when their coach crashed on the M3 highway near Mezokeresztes while returning from Medjugorje. The bodies of the victims have been transported to Krakow for forensic examinations.

In Poland, a tragic collision occurred on the S8 expressway near Czerniewice. Two men died—a truck driver and a passenger in a Ford Transit—after a Volvo semi-truck struck them while they were changing a tire on the shoulder.

In the United Kingdom, a high-speed police pursuit ended in a fatal crash near Middlesbrough on the A66. A Passat driving against traffic collided with a police vehicle, resulting in seven deaths, including two officers and a 23-year-old Polish national.

Other regional incidents in Poland include a collision between a car and a truck in Kołaczyce that sent three people to the hospital, a cyclist struck by a truck in Ciechanów, and a driver falling asleep at the wheel on the S8 near Babsko.
