Warsaw to host heritage and military museum conferences

Two significant cultural events are scheduled to take place in Warsaw to address the preservation and promotion of Polish heritage.

On November 26, the National Heritage Institute and the Stocznia Foundation will hold a consultation regarding social care for monuments. The meeting will utilize participatory workshops to develop recommendations for improving cooperation between conservation services and community activists. Key discussion topics include communication networks for cultural heritage protection during crises, training for community volunteers, and the popularization of social monument care.

Additionally, the first Congress of the Polish Arms Glory Club will be held on October 20–21 at the Polish Army Museum in the Warsaw Citadel and the Museum of the Battle of Warsaw 1920 in Ossów. The congress aims to foster cooperation among military museums regarding collection security, the legal aspects of possessing weapons in museum collections, historical education, and the protection of memorial sites.
