Bydgoszcz Upgrades Podleśna Street with 10‑Million‑Zloty Project

A nearly 10 million‑zloty investment is modernising Podleśna Street in Bydgoszcz’s Gliny‑Rupienica district. The consortium of local firms Affabre and Kada‑Bis is carrying out the works, which include laying an 800‑metre asphalt carriageway, installing sidewalks, energy‑efficient lighting, speed‑bump zones and expanding rain‑water drainage. Tree planting and shrub planting will improve the streetscape.

Roadworks have already finished road edging between Łucka Street and a nearby property. Ongoing work at the Podleśna‑Wąbrzeskie intersection is slated for completion in July, with the entire project expected to be finished by November. The upgraded infrastructure aims to ease local traffic, improve safety for pedestrians, and support the growing number of businesses in the area.
