Warsaw Vice‑President Renata Kaznowska Denies Private Dinners in South Hospital Scandal

Renata Kaznowska, former vice‑president of Warsaw, broke her silence after former director Anna Łukasik alleged that Kaznowska hosted private dinners with presidents and directors of city hospitals. Kaznowska told Onet she never organized or attended such meetings and suggested the claims were “confabulations” by Dr. Dawid Kacprzyk, a former emergency department coordinator and ex‑councillor of the Civic Coalition.

The allegations are part of a broader investigation into the Warsaw South Hospital, where Kacprzyk was accused of creating a “VIP lounge” for Civic Coalition politicians and of financial irregularities, including a bonus paid to Dr. Emil Jędrzejewski. Prosecutors have opened two investigations, and earlier in July both Kaznowska and Aldona Machnowska‑Góra resigned from their city posts following media reports of the scandal.
