Warsaw’s Fryderyk Chopin University ranks 23rd worldwide in music schools

The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw secured the 23rd position in a global ranking of music academies, overtaking institutions such as Germany’s Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Boston University and the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. This placement represents the highest ranking ever achieved by a Polish higher‑education institution in any field.

The ranking also highlighted the School of National Economy, which placed 56th in the category of agriculture and forestry, underscoring a broader push to promote Polish academic and cultural achievements abroad.
