Warstein opens new 6.5km bicycle path between Hirschberg and Stimm-Stamm

A new 6.5-kilometer bicycle path connecting Hirschberg and Stimm-Stamm has been officially opened in Warstein. The project was driven by significant volunteer efforts from Franz Linneboden of the Vereinsring Hirschberg and Jörg Hohmann of the Bürgerstiftung Meschede, who managed the project through a non-profit GmbH.

Warstein Mayor Maximilian Spinnrath praised the organizers for their dedication and will to implement the project entirely on a voluntary basis. The new path is expected to serve as a major tourist highlight for the region, potentially linking the Möhnetalradweg and Ruhrtalradweg if future connections to Meschede are established.
