Waseda University defeats Meiji University in Tokyo Big6 Baseball

In the Tokyo Big6 Baseball Autumn League, Waseda University defeated Meiji University 4-2 at Jingu Stadium. The match, which had previously been delayed by rain, saw Waseda pitcher Koki Takahashi deliver a complete game victory. Takahashi, a third-year student from Sendai Ikuei, recorded 10 strikeouts and allowed only two runs on three hits over nine innings.

The game featured a notable matchup between Takahashi and Meiji University pitcher Toma Yuda, both former teammates from Sendai Ikuei. Waseda secured the lead in the eighth inning when Kai Seiga hit a two-run home run. This victory serves as a significant rebound for Waseda following a heavy 0-17 loss to Meiji University in their previous encounter on September 30.
