Washburn Invitational tennis features undefeated performances

Collegiate tennis players from Washburn University and the University of Nebraska Omaha competed in the Washburn Invitational in Topeka, Kansas.

In women's singles action, Washburn's Daniela Tijaro won her championship round dual in the Blue Flight. Ruriha Miyawaki reached a tiebreaker in the Green Flight, while Jasel Bailey secured a victory in an extra match dual.

In men's competition, Omaha's Noah Greni and Anthony Scheglowski both finished undefeated in singles. Greni, a freshman, went 3-0, including a final win over McKendree's Mathijs Aalpol. Scheglowski also posted a 3-0 singles record, concluding with a victory against Wout Van Duysen. The Omaha men's team finished the weekend with a 12-5 overall record.
