Washim: Bodies of missing man and woman found in Morna Pond
The bodies of a 26-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were recovered from Morna Pond in the Goksawangi area of Washim district, Maharashtra. The deceased have been identified as Mahadev Nimbalkar and Nikita Kamble, both residents of Goksawangi village.
The two individuals had been reported missing since August 14. Their bodies were discovered by local fishermen in the pond, prompting an investigation by the Malegaon police.
Authorities have not yet determined whether the deaths were the result of murder or suicide. A definitive cause of death is expected following the completion of a post-mortem examination and ongoing police inquiries.
