Washington and Oregon face frost and freeze warnings

A low-pressure system is bringing a sharp temperature drop to parts of the Pacific Northwest. In Washington, frost advisories have been issued for eight counties, including Pierce, King, Thurston, Lewis, and Clark. Temperatures in these areas are expected to reach between 33 and 36 degrees Fahrenheit, which may cause damage to sensitive outdoor vegetation.

In Oregon, a freeze warning has been issued for the Bend area, with temperatures potentially dropping to 30 degrees. Residents are advised to take precautions to protect tender plants from the cold.
