Dallas Cowboys host Washington Commanders in Week 2 NFC East matchup

The Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders face off in an NFC East Week 2 matchup at AT&T Stadium, with both teams seeking their first win of the 2026 season after 0-1 starts.

Both rosters are dealing with significant injuries and disciplinary actions. The Cowboys have ruled out safety Malik Hooker, who is recovering from a fractured forearm, and linebacker DeMarvion Overshown, who is sidelined with a hamstring strain. To address depth, Dallas has elevated linebackers Curtis Robinson and Justin Barron from the practice squad. Additionally, players Javonte Williams and DeMarvion Overshown were fined by the NFL for conduct during Week 1.

The Commanders enter the game without linebacker Frankie Luvu and tight end Chig Okonkwo. Key players to watch include Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels and wide receiver Terry McLaurin, the latter of whom is a focus for several betting prop picks. The game is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, at 4:25 p.m. ET on Fox.
