Washington Commanders and Miami Dolphins hold joint training practice
The Washington Commanders and Miami Dolphins held a joint training camp practice at the Commanders’ facility in Ashburn, Virginia. The session provided a high-stakes look at both rosters ahead of the preseason.
Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels demonstrated strong command of first-year coordinator David Blough’s under-center offensive system. Daniels showed immediate chemistry with newly signed wide receiver Stefon Diggs, connecting on multiple passes, including touchdown throws. Rookie wide receiver Antonio Williams also stood out with impressive red-zone production.
While the Commanders' offense showed progress, the team faced challenges with the offensive line, particularly in establishing an interior running game and managing pass protection. Conversely, the Washington defense performed well, applying pressure to the Dolphins' offense and recording a touchdown interception by defensive back Mike Sainristil.
