Washington Commanders face criticism after loss to Eagles

Griffin III criticized a failed two-point conversion attempt late in the game, describing the play call as “HORRIFIC.” He noted that while the execution was flawed, quarterback Jayden Daniels also missed a critical read on Rachaad White in the flat, which could have resulted in a successful conversion.

Following the game, head coach Dan Quinn issued a blunt assessment of cornerback Mike Sainristil’s performance. Quinn labeled Sainristil’s lack of focus during key plays, including a touchdown catch by Eagles receiver Dontayvion Wicks, as “completely not acceptable.”
