Washington Dulles International Airport announces $22B modernization plan

Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia is preparing a massive $22 billion modernization project scheduled over the next decade. The overhaul involves the renovation and construction of approximately 464,000 square meters of space.

A central component of this infrastructure plan is the construction of a massive multi-story parking garage near the main terminal. If built according to current plans, the 15-story facility could accommodate up to 32,000 vehicles, potentially making it the largest garage in the world and surpassing the current record held by the West Edmonton Mall in Canada.
