Washington man charged with murder after ramming coworker's motorcycle
Tyler Sorensen, 22, has been charged with second-degree murder following a fatal incident involving a coworker at a Costco in Issaquah, Washington. The victim, 20-year-old Jonathon Langdon, died after being struck by a vehicle.
According to investigators, the incident was motivated by jealousy. Sorensen allegedly observed Langdon hugging a female coworker, whom Sorensen believed to be his former partner, though the woman denied any romantic relationship with him. Surveillance footage captured Sorensen following Langdon in a gray sedan after their work shift ended.
Prosecutors state that Sorensen intentionally rammed Langdon’s motorcycle, causing the victim to be thrown from the vehicle and strike a metal signpost. Following the collision, Sorensen reportedly drove to his residence, checking his own vehicle for damage before eventually returning to the scene with his father. Sorensen is currently being held in the King County Jail.
