Washington volleyball upsets No. 6 Wisconsin in five sets

The No. 21 Washington Huskies defeated the No. 6 Wisconsin Badgers in a five-set match (25-20, 25-27, 25-21, 18-25, 16-18) at the UW Field House. Despite the loss, Wisconsin freshman Decelise Champion recorded 20 kills and 11 digs, while Audrey Flanagan also achieved a double-double with 15 kills and 11 digs. Junior setter Charlie Fuerbringer surpassed 3,000 career assists during the match.

In upcoming volleyball action, the No. 20 University of Minnesota is scheduled to face the Washington Huskies on Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Maturi Pavilion. The series between Minnesota and Washington is currently tied at 3-3-0.
