Wasilków Municipality launches workplace wellness project

The Wasilków Municipality is launching a project titled ‘Healthy Work Environment in the Wasilków Town Hall’ to improve the health, wellbeing, and working conditions of municipal employees. The initiative aims to reduce health risks and enhance ergonomics and safety within the workplace.

Scheduled to run from September 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027, the project includes modernizing workstations with ergonomic furniture and equipment, establishing a quiet zone for staff, and providing access to consultations with psychologists, physiotherapists, and dieticians. Additionally, the program will feature workshops on stress management and burnout prevention, health screenings, and an educational picnic promoting healthy lifestyles.

The project has a total value of 556,334.95 PLN. It is co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus under the European Funds for Podlaskie 2021–2027 program, with EU funding contributing 472,884.70 PLN and the municipality providing 55,633.50 PLN.
