Wassenberg hosts inaugural health run for healthcare workers

The first health run for the healthcare sector took place in Wassenberg, Heinsberg district, under the motto ‘Pflege zeigt Flagge’ (Nursing shows its colors). Organized by Pflegedienste Kuijpers, the event aimed to highlight the importance of nursing, therapy, and healthcare professions.

The program included a five-kilometer run and a fun run designed to emphasize community, diversity, and professional joy rather than just workload or staff shortages. Approximately 100 participants joined the inaugural event, which also featured information booths and emphasized the cultural diversity within the healthcare workforce.
