Wasserfreunde Spandau 04 begins Euro Cup campaign in Berlin

Wasserfreunde Spandau 04 is set to begin its European Aquatics Euro Cup 2026/27 campaign on Thursday, October 29, 2026. The German club will host the Serbian team VK Šabac at the Sport- und Lehrschwimmhalle Schöneberg in Berlin.

Spandau 04 competes in Group D alongside Primorac Kotor (MNE), Rari Nantes Savona (ITA), and VK Šabac (SRB). This follows a narrow Champions League qualification loss in Oradea. The upcoming match against VK Šabac is considered a significant challenge, as the Serbian side finished as runners-up in their domestic league last season and progressed to the Euro Cup round of 16 in the previous campaign.

Both teams have undergone roster changes involving six positions heading into the new season. Spandau 04 enters the competition following a recent 33-2 Bundesliga victory against SV Krefeld 72.
