Waste management changes implemented in Čibača and Zadar

New waste disposal measures have been introduced in the Čibača and Zadar regions. In Čibača, the municipality has established a mobile recycling yard to facilitate the temporary disposal of bulky waste. This service is available on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9:00 to 12:00. Authorities have warned that improper disposal of furniture and household appliances near standard waste containers is strictly prohibited and subject to sanctions.

In the Zadar area, construction waste disposal has moved to a new location at the Donji Biljani quarry, managed by the company Mineri d. o. o., following the upcoming closure of the Dikl landfill. The new site accepts only non-hazardous construction waste from Monday to Friday, between 7:00 and 15:00. Users must ensure that plastic, paper, and wood are not mixed with construction materials and must provide the required documentation, such as a tracking sheet, for each shipment.
