Watanga FC and Bea Mountain FC to face off in Bettomax Champions Cup final

Watanga FC and Bea Mountain FC are set to face each other in the Bettomax Champions Cup final. The match serves as a rematch of their recent competitive encounters, including a scoreless draw during the group stage and a 4-2 victory for Watanga in the Liberia Football Association First Division.

Bea Mountain secured their place in the final after a 3-1 semifinal victory over LISCR FC, highlighted by two goals from Darius Garmondeh and a strike from Emmanuel Williams. Watanga FC advanced to the final following a 2-0 semifinal win against LPRC Oilers, with goals from Kindness Cole and Varney B. Varney. However, Varney will be unavailable for the final due to a suspension received after a goal celebration.

The final will also feature a coaching rivalry between Watanga's Theophilus Geekor and Bea Mountain's Turkish coach Ibrahim Cezayir. The winner of the match will claim the Bettomax Champions Cup trophy and a $12,000 grand prize.
