Watch enthusiasts celebrate new releases and regional events

The Bangladesh Watch Club has released its inaugural timepiece, a special edition collaboration with the French brand Baltic. Titled ‘The First Fifty’, the watch is based on the Baltic MR Classic platform and features a green grained dial inspired by the Bangladeshi national flag, complemented by a red central seconds hand. Uniquely, the dial includes Bengali numerals at the cardinal points. The timepiece is powered by a Hangzhou CAL5000a automatic micro-rotor movement and maintains a 36mm case size.

In the United States, Watch Week Aspen recently concluded its third and largest edition in Colorado. Founded by Elizabeth Smith Hrubala and Oliver Smith, the event attracted over 300 collectors to the Rocky Mountain region. The gathering serves as an intimate alternative to larger international horological festivals, focusing on the appreciation of rare watches within an alpine setting.
