Watch industry highlights: Geneva Watch Days releases and vintage-inspired designs

Recent highlights from the horology industry include notable releases from Geneva Watch Days 2026 and new vintage-inspired designs.

At Geneva Watch Days, Laurent Ferrier introduced the Classic Moon Dusk in yellow gold, featuring an obsidian moon phase and a color palette described as “taupe, chocolate, and gold.” Additionally, the spin-off brand MAD, a collaboration involving Maximilian Büsser and Vincent Callebaut, released the M.A.D. 3. MIN also showcased the 57.05 Comet, which features an innovative dual-ring world time bezel designed to manage daylight savings time efficiently.

In the realm of accessible design, Outline has released the 369 Special, a collection aimed at replicating the aesthetic of 1950s vintage Rolex watches. The 36mm stainless steel model utilizes a Miyota 9039 movement to achieve a slim profile and features a glossy black “mirror dial” and a “semi-bubble back” case design to capture a mid-century look.
