Wateen Telecom and PTML announce new strategic partnerships in Pakistan

Wateen Telecom has entered a strategic partnership with FonGreen Silicon Technologies (FoST) to provide digital infrastructure for the Foundation Renewable & Technology Zone (FRTZ) in Karachi, Pakistan. Wateen will deploy a Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) and an AI-powered CCTV and Vision Analytics solution to support the zone, which is being developed as a hub for renewable energy manufacturing and emerging technologies.

Separately, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTML) has partnered with the streaming platform myco. Through PTML brands Ufone and Telenor, customers in Pakistan will receive discounted access to English Premier League (EPL) packages. The promotional offer includes a 55% discount in the first month, followed by tiered discounts on monthly, quarterly, and seasonal passes in subsequent months.
