Water infrastructure projects launched in Saint-Sauveur-Marville and Mamers
Local water and sanitation infrastructure projects are underway in various French regions. In Saint-Sauveur-Marville, the Agglo du Pays de Dreux has inaugurated a new wastewater treatment plant for the Marville-les-Bois hamlet. This modern facility replaces an obsolete system and utilizes a natural reed filter process to treat domestic wastewater, aiming to protect natural environments while ensuring energy efficiency.
In Mamers, the SIDPEP intercommunal syndicate has approved the demolition of the Bellevue water reservoir to improve local water pressure. The existing 800 m³ reservoir will be replaced by a new 300 m³ underground facility. The project has sparked local debate regarding the preservation of a historic catchment hut dating back to 1895 located at the site.
